Office of Discrimination Complaints

Responsible for processing all discrimination complaints in which an employee, applicant, or former employee asserts that they received unfair treatment based on one or more of the protected Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) bases. NSA has a zero-tolerance for discrimination.

Office of Analysis, Equality, & Engagement

Maintains NSA’s Special Emphasis Programs and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including the continuing Affirmative Action Program to promote equal opportunity and identify areas where barriers may operate to exclude certain groups. Monitors progress of programs aimed at eliminating discriminatory practices through statistical analysis, advocates for fair, balanced, and equitable workplace practices, and delivers proactive facilitation to the workforce.

Office of Reasonable Accommodations and Accessibility

Provides applicants and  employees with reasonable accommodations in the workplace, and provides visitors with disability services, to ensure access.

Office of Reasonable Accommodation Services

Oversees the implementation of specific services, whose availability vary depending on whether the individual is an applicant or employee as compared to a visitor. Services includes sign language interpreting, real-time captioning, assistance with activities of daily living, and administrative services (e.g., note-taking).

NSA protects the rights of employees, former employees and applicants for Federal employment under Federal antidiscrimination and Whistleblower protection laws.
