FORT MEADE, Md. — Alas, COVID-19 has changed any number of things, and virtual learning has been the best of the less-than-great choices we have for educating our children. I have participated in meetings to talk about the technology choices where we spent most of our time discussing security and a little time talking about the privacy concerns.

NSA Releases USA FREEDOM Act Transparency Report
FORT MEADE, Md. — The National Security Agency announced the public release of its new report on the implementation of the USA FREEDOM Act, along with specific procedures adopted by the U.S. Attorney General and approved by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that are designed to protect privacy rights. NSA's Civil Liberties and Privacy Office conducted a civil liberties and privacy impact assessment to examine how NSA is implementing the new law.
