NSA Celebrates America’s Armed Forces & Police at the National Cryptologic Museum

FORT MEADE, Md. — More than 1,300 people attended NSA's 2019 Armed Forces & National Police Celebration at the National Cryptologic Museum. Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities that included brain twisters by NSA’s K-12 Outreach, martial arts demonstrations and face painting by U.S. Marines, military and police working dog demonstrations, weapons displays by military and NSA Police, and World War II displays.

Soldiers from the 200th Military Police Command brought a Humvee for kids to explore and educated visitors about their command and the serving in the U.S. Army Reserve.

National Cryptologic Museum celebrated our Armed Forces and Police men and women. Children and adults enjoyed more than 30 attractions including games, hands-on crafts and cryptologic challenges

Since 1948, the Air Force has conducted cryptologic missions. From Airborne Radio Direction Finding in the Vietnam War to a continuous 25-year plus airborne Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) presence in Southwest Asia, the Air Force has had a cryptologic presence in every major conflict in its history. As a permanent fixture in the armed forces intelligence organization, our motto "Freedom Through Vigilance," epitomizes why ISR is a leading USAF core mission.

National Cryptologic Museum Pulling Out All Stops For Armed Forces Day

FORT MEADE, Md. — The Armed Forces Day Celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 17. U.S. Cyber Command, the National Security Agency, and the Central Security Service will join with the Fort Meade Garrison to provide activities outside and inside the museum.
