July 31, 2015 - National System Administrator Appreciation Day

NSA's missions to defend our nation and support our warfighters require that we have the capability to deliver critical intelligence and services around the clock, around the world. This requires not only a stable, robust IT infrastructure, but also a dedicated cadre of System Administrators to keep it up and running.

So today, we honor the men and women who keep our information systems up and running, enabling us to support military operations, provide force protection, and deliver the decision advantage to our customers, 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

In our increasingly networked world, system administrators are the air traffic controllers, the mechanics, and the traffic cops in cyberspace. We thank them for their dedication to the mission. They are the unsung heroes of the Intelligence Community.
