Complaint Guidance

In compliance with Federal Laws and Regulations prohibiting discrimination and harassment in the workplace, NSA’s Office of Discrimination Complaints is responsible for processing all complaints of discrimination in which a civilian employee, applicant, or former employee asserts that they received unfair treatment based on one or more of the protected EEO bases.

Protected EEO Bases:

  • Age
  • Color
  • Disability
  • Genetic Information
  • National Origin
  • Race
  • Religion
  • Sex
  • Reprisal due to prior participation in an EEO matter

Individuals who believe they have been discriminated against must contact an EEO Counselor within 45 calendar days from the date of the alleged discriminatory event(s), or the date they became aware of the event(s), or from when they reasonably should have known of the event(s). Individuals may contact an EEO Counselor through one of the following methods:

  • Email: EEO_Counselors@NSA.gov
