Installation & Logistics Intern Program (I&L) The Installation & Logistics (I&L) Intern Programs are the National Security Agency's newest programs for careers in the project management and electrical, power, mechanical and civil engineering fields. Architect/Engineering – This program provides opportunities for individuals pursuing a Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil/structural engineering, electrical engineering (power emphasize) and mechanical engineering. I&L Interns gain valuable work-related experience in a government setting while being directly involved with selected NSA facilities construction/renovation projects that will support plant operations, infrastructure planning, design development, standards application, project management services and design drawing assistance. Project Management – This program provides opportunities for individuals pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Project Management to gain valuable work-related experience in a government setting while being directly involved with selected NSA facilities construction/renovation projects from design through construction, commissioning, activation, and occupancy. Interns will also be involved in ensuring that projects run according to schedule, are cost effective, and meet customers' objectives. Logistics – This program provides opportunities for individuals pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Management. Interns will be directly involved with global logistics support that meets the needs of NSA organizations worldwide. Interns will provide material management services through acquisition, logistics, storage, distribution and cargo services support to the entire Agency and gain valuable work-related experience in a government setting.
