NSA welcomes the semi-annual report of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and OIG's efforts to make the unclassified version as complete and transparent as possible for the public. We have always encouraged our workforce to cooperate fully with the OIG's independent efforts to assess our programs, operations and activities to ensure compliance with the law and consistency with protecting civil liberties and privacy. Agency management agreed with all of the OIG's recommendations and is committed to working with the OIG to ensure those recommendations are implemented.
