FT. MEADE, Md. –
The Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, names NSA Research Director Dr. Deborah Frincke as a 2019 ACM Fellow. She is the first NSA employee to receive the honor.
The ACM Fellows Program celebrates exceptional contributions of the leading members in the computing field. Fellows comprise and elite group that represent less than one percent of the Association’s global membership.
Dr. Frincke is being recognized for her contributions in education, practice of research, and the leadership of cybersecurity. She has helped start new lines of research and is a regular speaker at conferences. She joins honorees from universities, research centers, and industry spanning six continents.
She will be formally recognized at a ceremony in June 2020. You can read more information about the award
