Description: The NAI Technologies, Inc. ES20TE-xx family of embedded workstations is based on the Sun Microsystems, Inc. SPARCstation 20 family of computers. The ES20Te is designed to address embedded network applications such as database and communications servers. The ES20Te-xx chassis is a rackmountable TEMPEST enclosure that measures 3.5" high and 23.25" deep and less than weights 35 pounds. The front panel provides access to two peripheral bays (one removable) and includes a power on/off switch, a Sun standard 0.25 inch 600 ohm stereo headphone jack, speaker, and power, over temperature warning and SCSI activity indicators. The chassis rear panel accommodates connections for a Sun Type 5 UNIX keyboard and mouse, Sun video, two 25-pin RS-232C serial ports, two 15-pin AUI ethernet ports, two external SCSI-2 ports, a 155Mbps ST dual barrel fiber port, 25-pin parallel port, unused punchout and a circuit breaker reset button. The processor baseboard includes two 64-bit busses: the 50 Mhz Mbus for CPU modules and the 25 Mhz Sbus for I/O boards. There are a total of two Mbus and four Sbus expansion slots. The basic unit configuration includes the Sun SPAR-Cengine 20 baseboard, a 3.5 inch 1.44MB floppy drive, an autoranging 150 Watt power supply, All systems can be expanded to a total of 512 Mbytes of ECC system memory. The ES20Te is configured with the Solaris operating system.
