Description: The YT1-SWxxx is a multiport switch which facilitates the networking of fiber optic IEEE 802.3 devices. This switch balances between 10 and 1000Mbit ports by providing dedicated 10Mbit links to the desktop and 100Mbit links for high speed server connections and uplinks to the network backbone. The switch can multiplex lower speed smaller networks into the higher speed large enterprise-wide networks where shared devices such as routers applications servers and WAN links are connected. The 10/100 switch data transfer rate is full wire speed switching and forwarding for optimizing network migration and growth demands. The switch comes with or without device management capability. The network management software provides complete and up-to-date information necessary for analyzing network traffic, detecting errors and isolating trouble spots to maximize network performance and eliminate downtime. Available configurations are: 2x100Mbit fiber optic ports/12x10Mbit fiber optic ports with or without management, or 4x100Mbit fiber optic ports/24x10Mbit fiber optic ports with or without management. An upgrade path is available from the first configuration to the second configuration. Also, the switch can be either rack or wall mounted to conserve space. The power requirements are 100-240 VAC; 50/60Hz. Models
